Things appear to be moving quickly with Massimiliano Allegri and reports suggest that he is one step away from leaving AC Milan.
Since the defeat to Cagliari, Milan have been in a meltdown situation. Everything and everyone is being questioned, most notably Allegri. Throughout the season, he has referred to the Champions League as his goal. So failing to qualify has harmed his chances of remaining at San Siro.

In fact, it seems like there is little to no chance that he stays, despite suggestions that Gerry Cardinale was ready to back him more than others…
It leaves the club, again, broken internally and questions will be asked of what is next for all parties.
Allegri at risk…
According to Matteo Moretto, the Italian is ‘one step away’ from being sacked, following reports from earlier today that the management are ready to look towards a new coach, perhaps Antonio Conte, who is leaving Napoli.
It appears that the decision is to sack him, so the Rossoneri will pay out the full €5.2 million salary for next season. Perhaps it will be a little less, if there were any clauses for not getting Champions League.
Either way, though, it is an expensive action.

Do it it is 2014 all over again
Good riddance
I can’t believe he wasn’t sacked as soon as the whistle touched the ref’s lips…
So, when conciecao ruined this team last year, not even finishing in Europe, tons of you said you wanted him to stay, that he needed more time, now he should be sacked right away. Show some respect, I know this result was terrible but a coach merry go round is no better. If Conte were to take over he would leave before the first game, as soon as he would see this management and not get what he wants in the mercato he’s gone, I know this also sounds like an excuse but if even 1 of the 15 or so referee game ruining calls didn’t happen they would be in Champions. This would be a mistake to change coaches
Ppl said Concecaio should stay? I must have missed that part. For the consensus was that both coaches that season were not Milan level
Allegri showed what his outdated philosophy brings. Totality passive on the ball and no idea how to use his players and adapt his philosophy to the squad.
