Tuttosport: Milan to clinch Origi signing and use summer budget on three other additions

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have decided to move full steam ahead in their pursuit of Divock Origi and now the budget can be used on other roles, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Origi is the man that Maldini and Massara have chosen to complete the striker department alongside Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the 2022-23 season, even if the future of the Swede is uncertain.

The negotiation between Origi and Milan is in an advanced state, with an offer of €3.5-4m net per season for four years on the table, a salary in line with the club’s parameters.

The budget made available for the summer market can be allocated to other roles therefore, such as the signing of a new central defender. Milan have been working to sign Botman, the number one target, while Torino’s Bremer is the alternative.

For the midfield, the Rossoneri management are moving to sign Renato Sanches of Lille, while Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adlì will return from their loans. Then, a right winger could arrive with Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi the favourite for Pioli.

  1. Milan should please fufill belotti dream of playing for his boyhood club also just like tonali, he will play his heart and won’t mind taking pay cut too

  2. Idris I agree with you. Plus if he doesn’t click with the team, we can sell for capital gain. Some MLS club can fork out €15m for him.

Instead of Sanchez, why not Boubacar Kamara?

We need all the capital we can get for AM and RW.
