Tuttosport: Milan to clinch Origi signing and use summer budget on three other additions

AC Milan have decided to move full steam ahead in their pursuit of Divock Origi and now the budget can be used on other roles, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Origi is the man that Maldini and Massara have chosen to complete the striker department alongside Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the 2022-23 season, even if the future of the Swede is uncertain.

The negotiation between Origi and Milan is in an advanced state, with an offer of €3.5-4m net per season for four years on the table, a salary in line with the club’s parameters.

The budget made available for the summer market can be allocated to other roles therefore, such as the signing of a new central defender. Milan have been working to sign Botman, the number one target, while Torino’s Bremer is the alternative.

For the midfield, the Rossoneri management are moving to sign Renato Sanches of Lille, while Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adlì will return from their loans. Then, a right winger could arrive with Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi the favourite for Pioli.
