Marco Palestra’s growth has not gone unnoticed in Serie A, and AC Milan are among the teams interested in signing him.
The Cagliari full-back is continuing to deliver strong performances and show evident quality, and given that he is just 20 years of age, there is a lot of potential there too. As reported by Corriere della Sera (via Tribuna), all the big Italian clubs are ready to battle for the Italian.

Palestra in demand
Inter are evaluating the possibility of getting ahead of everyone and closing the deal as early as January, even if the negotiation will be anything but easy. Palestra is owned by Atalanta, and relations between the two clubs are certainly not idyllic after the ‘Lookman saga’ over the summer.
Should the season ultimately come to an end and he hasn’t moved yet, Juventus and Milan are also ready to make a move for Palestra, who has so far made 12 appearances (with three assists) in just under 1000 minutes played.

The Italy U21 international has played mostly as a right-back/right wing-back this summer. TuttoMercatoWeb (via MilanXtra) also confirm interest from the Rossoneri – after Goal did a few weeks ago – but they add that a price of €35-40m has already been set.
Given that Milan have Alexis Saelemaekers as an established starter on the right side in the 3-5-2 system, it remains to be seen if such an investment would be sanctioned in a position that perhaps isn’t an urgent need.

35-40M???
that’s Bellanova valuation and even that would be with EPL tax. The kid isn’t worth more than 20M
plus Atalanta are bound to finish outside of top 6, they will need to sell
How do you know Atalanta will not make the top 6? Atalanta are force to be reckoned with now that they have changed coach , they have a lot of talent in all departments.
It’s way to early for such conclusions.
What do you mean? If a player from Belgian league costs almost 40M then a player from Serie A is at least of equivalent value or more…
The best player in Belgium, with champions league experience, not just a player Belgium, this is why clubs don’t sign Italians they over price the players
Best player in Belgium. Let’s repeat. Best player in Belgium. 25M maximum fee. Players in English Championship (2nd. league) are better.
Didn’t even want to comment that “clubs don’t sign Italians”. Atletico Madrid signed how many? 2, 3, 4 of them last summer? If we go through the actual transfers it will be embarrassing for you.
If this guy is 35-40, Bartesaghi how much is it ? 60 ? 70 ? Don’t get me wrong, Palestra is good, talented but 35-40 is delusional .
How many delusional transfers occur in the PL every summer? So why not Palestra? Maybe not at 35-40M, but 25-30M could happen and even that amount would be too much at this juncture. In any case, it’s irrelevant to Milan because we’re fine with Saelemaekers and if they bring another RB it’s going to be a backup-type, and we’re not paying over 10M for a backup.
