CM: ‘Choice of the future not written’ – Milan and Paratici considering Kulusevski swoop

Despite no sporting director being in place just yet, ideas are being formed by AC Milan and the individual candidates if they were to land the role, and an aligned idea may be created.

Christian Pulisic has been brilliant since joining Milan, but there has always been one downfall to the American – he has no alternative. For the Rossoneri, it has often been the American or no one, and whilst attempts have been made to give him rest, there has been no one to fill the void.

This has been picked up on by Mauricio Pochettino, and despite the statement being made at the start of this season, there has rarely been any notice of it. However, that is largely a forced decision.

So, it is possible there will be some movement in the mercato involving Pulisic. Considering the Rossoneri have tied him down to a longer deal, the idea is to build around him, but perhaps the first step to this could be adding a proper deputy.

Here is where the interest in Dejan Kulusevski steps in, capable of playing across the front line, the Swede was a target in the summer for Milan, and now, there is a temptation to revisit the idea, as Calciomercato.com reports.

Should Fabio Paratici arrive, the chances of an attempt may be increased, given the winger has ‘followed’ the sporting director previously to London. However, whether the club would be willing to stump up €50 million for an option is certainly debatable.

      1. Kulusevski is a leader at least. He talks the talk and walks the walk 🙂 He’s not a goal scorer. But he is really good with the ball. Put him at ACM and we’ll finally have someone to play up against up there.

        1. Gimemez
          Leao-Tiji-Kulusevski-Pulisic
          Ricci
          Theo-Pavlovic-Lucumi-Walker
          Maignan

in 4-1-4-1 system like Man City used to play.

          1. Your lineups get worse by the minute.
If Ricci, who is a mediocre player, is the only midfielder in the lineup Milan will have to score 5 goals each game to get a win.

        1. Nah… Noni is miles better than Chuck. Chuck was never good, and only people who trust blindly in our scouting department were not against buying him.

But I don’t see how would we ever get Madueke. He’s a promissing English international and a regular at cfc. Was there some news that he might be leaving?

    1. Paratic is a disease and Milan should be aiming higher not lower. Kulusevski is old project and Milan need Osomendi from Napoli now!
Furlani signs Paratic , and it will be his death at Milan!

    1. We had the opportunity to land kulusevski fir free loan when juventus wanted him out but we didn’t,now we have to pay heavy. Just swap tomori for him

  1. So they can not officially appoint or announce Paratici as the new SD until his suspension is up? Does that mean he’s already at work and pulling strings?

Because I would love for his move to be to pivot away from Allegri and towards Conte in the summer. What a turn of events that would be…

  2. Our needs are in the midfield. We need a #6/destroyer to provide cover for our center backs. They were exposed all season, esp as the current system seems to include wingbacks who don’t track back.

  3. We get partrici no problem but we don’t need Max Allegri we need Sergi conceicao we have Pioli more time to prove Milan so let’s give Sergi conceicao more time too. Acmilan will return back to best.

  4. We are going to be a mid table, no European football club… won’t pay over £30mm and cap salaries lower than Brighton….. click bait stories need to focus on the reality of what players would join.
