Despite failing to get the deal done in the winter transfer window, AC Milan have no intention of giving up on Andrej Kostic.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via MN24) this morning, Milan have continued work to try and get Kostic ahead of the summer. Discussions with Partizan Belgrade have continued, a sign that the management consider the young talent a top priority.

The issue to overcome
As was the case in January, the main issue remains the player’s valuation. While the Serbian club set a high price tag in January, asking for €10m, Milan didn’t agree. The Rossoneri’s plan, as per the paper, is to lower the asking price to at least €5m fixed plus a series of bonuses.
The move is also supported by former great Dejan Savicevic, who reportedly personally recommended his compatriot to the Milan management. Kostic’s performance this season also speaks volumes: at 18 years of age, he has nine goals in 29 games, one every 98 minutes.
The player for his part is still pushing hard to join Milan, and is supported by his entourage. The club aim to close the deal in the coming weeks to overcome the competition from certain teams around Europe, CorSport conclude.
So basically they’ve given up on Camarda already.
And you came to that conclusion how exactly?

Camarda was given a huge chance but he miserably failed scoring 0 goals and 0 assists in Serie A while constantly being pushed and favoured and given many ore minutes to play instead of Jovic (who Played at Real Madrid and Germany and had UCL experience). Because of Camarda we also lost Jovic who in this team would easily score 15 goals or more per season if given a proper chance. But for some reason they always favoured other players before Jovic. Jovic is scoring again now in Greece, he clearly knows what he is doing. Just the portugese coaches had no clue how to use him. Insanity. The guy has a hunch for goal better than Inzaghi and even plays well with head – yet they favoured inexperienced Camarda who can’t score even at Lecce now.
Have you watched Camarda play for Lecce. I have. I have watched closer to ten matches where he got minutes and I’d say he got maybe 3 good scoring chances and maybe 2 or 3 “some kind of chance”. The service there is absolutely miserable and non-existing.
Have you seen the goals he scores? Did you see the disallowed UCL-goal he scored? He knows how to score. He’s just too inexperienced and in the wrong club. In a couple of years he’ll be better than Jovic ever was.
