The AC Milan squad were back in training on Wednesday to begin preparing for Monday’s crucial game against Napoli.
The clash at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona feels befitting of Easter Monday, as one of either Napoli or Milan will emerge from it with new life, establishing themselves as the true main challengers to Inter. Or it could be a draw of course, which arguably helps nobody.
It comes after an international break that has seen over 10 Milan players jet off around Europe and the world to represent their countries, racking up over 100,000 air miles in the process. There seems to be no injury issues that have resulted, as the internationals begin to report back.
Training resumed at Milanello on Wednesday, with Mike Maignan, Fikayo Tomori and Rafael Leao among those to report back. There are still some injury doubts regarding Leao as well as Matteo Gabbia, but below is an insight into how the session went.
