Milan expected to pay €1m to retain ownership of promising striker

Lorenzo Colombo is currently on loan at Lecce and it has been a successful spell thus far for the youngster. In order to keep him in their ranks, AC Milan will have to pay €1m at the end of the season.

Colombo joined Lecce on a season-long loan in the summer and he has since scored four goals for the Serie A side. Milan are convinced that he can be a great asset for the future and thus want to keep him in the club.

Lecce have a €2.5m buy-out option that they are expected to exercise in the summer, as highlighted by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, but Milan also have a buy-back. The latter clause is valued at €3.5m.

This means that the Rossoneri will have to pay €1m to keep Colombo in their ranks. At the age of 20, the striker has his whole career ahead of him and he certainly looks very promising.
