Official: Milan confirm termination of loan as Pellegri completes Torino move

AC Milan have officially confirmed that Pietro Pellegri has left the club because his loan spell as been terminated by Monaco.

A statement on the official website has announced that the early termination of Pietro Pellegri’s loan deal has been agreed with Monaco. The club go on record as thanking Pietro for his commitment and wishing him the very best in his future career.

Pellegri joined AC Milan on an initial loan deal ahead of the season but with just 127 minutes in the bag, reported emerged claiming that he expected to leave the Rossoneri. There were negotiations between Milan and Monaco over a permanent move but they broke down.

The striker has been far from successful since his arrival and the rumours of a loan swap did not exactly come as a surprise, especially given that Marko Lazetic is arriving from Red Star to take his spot. Meanwhile, Torino have now confirmed Pellegri’s arrival.

  1. Bakayoko and Diaz should follow immediately… The only Loan move that paid of from the last Mercarto was Florenzi. I hope Maldini can learn some lessons from this dreadful deals

  2. I know this kid is capable of so much more, but the combination of his fragile body, Milan coaching and medical staff have ruined his chances.

    I really wish him all the best in Torino.
