There are three AC Milan players who did not end 2021 in the best way and are therefore on the hunt for some kind of redemption in the new year, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) talks about the disappointing recent impact of Olivier Giroud, Brahim Diaz and Tiemoue Bakayoko. They describe them as a trio that must be recovered by head coach Stefano Pioli given that they should be important resources for the squad.
However, with injuries, Covid, disappointments and a loss of form, they are certainly three players who must also find an upturn from somewhere because Milan know what they are capable of hence the decision to bet on them in the summer.
To return to command Pioli needs the best qualities of all his men such as the unpredictability of Diaz, Bakayoko’s solidity and Giroud’s clinical nature in front of goal.
