CM: Milan’s plans for Daniel Maldini clear as Paolo is convinced by his path

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan currently have no intention of letting Daniel Maldini leave the club this summer with even loan offers to be rejected, a report claims.

According to Calciomercato.com, Maldini made a very good impression in the last friendly on Saturday night against OGC Nice in France as he came on for the final 30 minutes. The teenager was always in the heart of the game, showing some nice touches and a willingness to make an impact.

The target now for Maldini is to improve what was shown in the last season both in terms of appearances and also in terms of goals, if possible. The return of Brahim Diaz and the imminent arrival of a new attacking midfielder are two signs of how the playing time for Daniel at Milan risks being very limited.

However, his father and the club’s technical director Paolo is convinced that the path he is on is the right one and no changes are expected from the initial plans. That’s why a proposal from Spezia was rejected.
