Milan players head straight down tunnel after Como win amid jeers from fans – video

There was a rather sad ending to AC Milan’s comeback win over Como, as the team left the field to jeers rather than celebrating with the fans.

The Curva Sud announced before the game that their 15-minute protest would continue, making it clear that they are still unhappy with the ownership and the management for what has been a difficult season.

On the field things went a bit better. Milan had to come from behind once again to beat Como, but they managed to do so to record a second consecutive Serie A win thanks to second half goals from Christian Pulisic and Tijjani Reijnders.

However, instead of celebrating under the Curva like usual after a win, the team instead went straight down the tunnel as boos and jeers rained down from the stands. It is a sign that three points will not halt the discontent.

  1. Because while it was a win, it just wasn’t a good performance. These are players that are professionals and should care more about the rest of the season. They were atrocious for 60 minutes.

    1. I get the booing of management and sending a message to them or even booing a player if their performance was really bad but to boo the whole team after a win, a hard fought one at that is only making it worse. Like biting the hand that feeds you. The curve are then part of the problem and are contributing to the bad performances

  2. I don’t agree with booing the team. Especially after a hard fought win. Not all wins will be pretty and convincing but the players made sure they got the results.

The real protest should be towards the owners and management. This team is poorly built and we had a very bad summer mercato.

      1. WHen you turn a loss against COMO into a win MILAN players should be applauded. Hahahahah, you can’t be such a ppussy, it shouldn’t even be possible for a man.

        1. You’re just too good for Milan, please move on to ‚support‘ another team. I think there is actually a team in Tadjikistan who wins all their league games – that could match your expectations.

  3. this is the real problem of the season. after a game like today i dont expect everyone being happy, but as a fan you have to support your team. especially people who talk a lot about club ethics (colors of the shirts etc.) should know how to do their part for the good of the club. maybe management is not good currently, but so are the supporters. criticism is ok, but everyone should look at theirselves first.

  4. I’m getting very tired of the curvas behaviour. I liked the energy from the crowd after 1-1. It really helped I think. And that’s the way they should act. Not boo when the team actually win. We shouldn’t act like spoiled kids. We should applaud this win against a good team.

    1. Yeah the only real Milan fans are the keyboard warriors from Nebraska, not the ones who grew up rooting for these colors, dedicating money and time to travel, with tickets getting more and more expensive while the club is entering its second Banter era. And I bet they didn’t even buy the WWE-Milan belt, the tifosi should be ashamed.

        1. Because it’s a literally minnow of a team barely out of the 2nd division, and the wete better than us for 60min

          1. You made yourself the gatekeeper of both Milan fandom and football? If you’re going to boo us even when we win, just don’t show up at the stadium for the match. Simple. How can you call yourself a supporter?

I’m happy we won. This season has been a load of 💩 and we got 3 points. And if you like to see Milan lose, go support Inter.

      1. You always post the most dreadful rubbish. Your posts are always negative like a bitter old man whose wife left him and took half his lot. You act like you are the know all Milan fan all the while your avatar is American college football USC Trojans. Did Carson Palmer or Matt Leinart break your heart? You need to have a fingernail painting sleepover at Caleb Willams’ home, it will help you feel better. If you are lucky Reggie Bush will join and he might let you touch his Heisman.

        1. All of them great players man but off topic.

I didn’t say negative things but actual things. Tickets are more and more expensive. Tifosi spend money and time. Milan is 7th and in constant crisis.

          1. Leave it to Bart to pretend his comments exist in a vacuum. Anyone who visits these forums in the past 12 months knows what you post. You complain when they win, complain when they lose, the players all suck all the while you place yourself on top of the steaming pile of crap called Milan. All those former Trojans went on to be busts or will be other than Palmer who had adequate success due to teammates but he never won anything. I brought those players up hoping you’d make the connect that they are all on par with Musah. 😂😂😂😂 Musah is the Reggie Bush of Milan.

  5. Well, when a small team with the budget of your youth team plays better than you, you probably shouldn’t expect from the fans thanking you for this performance.
Can’t understand what they do the whole week in trainings, they look like the met each other for the first time before the game.

    1. Read the comments and agree with some and others not so much. Last year we finished a disappointing second, to our rival which was more painful than when Napoli won. Pioli lost his job over that. Our new managerial choices took us backwards. What bothers me is pre-game I have to look who is in the starting squad , I can name the squad of Inter and never be surprised, like as it was said ,it is like they have to introduce themselves to each other pre game. Every week new line up mix of players not to mention new strategy and assignments. Next year is our chance to excel since we will not be distracted with other competitions.

  6. As a fan, I congratulate this team’s win against Como.

Fabregas’s team is not an easy opponent.

So, thank you to the coach and team, for their effort.

For me, they have played so entertaining before the Como’s goal. And if they can bounce back, and won the match, thats incredible.

So, keep this winning track team. And no need to jeers them, its a win tonight, not a lose match.

  7. Look at the stats:

Expected goals: Milan (0.92) Como (1.07)
    Possession: Milan (42%) Como (58%)
Total shots: Milan (9) Como (15)
Shots on target: Milan (3) Como (6)
Corner kicks: Milan (0) Como (5)
    Fouls: Milan (21) Como (7)

No wonder the team was jeered by the fans.
I personally wouldn’t have booed the team in a victory but the truth is that Como played better than Milan. If not for two moments of brilliance from Pulisic and Reijnders, and some good stops by Mike, we’d have lost.

    1. And that’s the main reason we need to buckle up next season and get players that are ready to let their heart bleeds for the shirt and not money purpose not excluding the management, nevertheless we need to applaud Como’s coach for a brilliant tactics and confidence he bestowed on his team cause they played without fear for the whole 90mins plus

      Forza Milan ❤️🖤💯

  8. Whatever it takes for this group to build the character to keep winning and get a Coppa. Let them band together against the negative fans. Forza Milan.

  9. So let me get this straight. You don’t show up for the first 15 minutes of the game. You boo and whistle at your own team all game for any bad play. Then you boo after your team wins…..and for some reason it’s the players who are showing disrespect when they don’t honor that fan base? Everyone has a right to boo…but to be butt hurt when the players don’t give you fake claps at the end of the game, is so effing soft.

    1. But the fans should have given them fake praise after that shi*ty match where they barely beat Como? Thankfully we have Milan fans on the stadium, not whiny bi*ches.

        1. That is fake. If you don’t express what you feel you are fake. That is your suggestions, for the fans to be fake so they don’t hurt the feeling of players and you. You are a definition of a bi*ch.

          1. And going to the internet to moan week after week about a player you don’t like is so masculine. What you do is literally bi*ching. 🤣 🤣 🤣

  10. Como literally dominated us in every stat, COMO. Not bayern, not Barcelona, not Liverpool, Como… you dont deserve cheers for only showing up to your job in the last 20 minutes. Especially when it’s always just 2 players bailing the team out

  11. Basically most comments think that fans should be nice to Milan players that barely beat Como and Lecce, after losing 3 games in a row. You are literal mo*ons, there is no other explanation.

    1. You think taking away confidence from the players all the time is a good idea – that tells about everything about you. But I’m sure you are a very tough boy.

      1. So, fans are to blame for Milan barely being able to beat Como and Lecce and lost 3 games prior to that? And they should support this like Milan won the Champions league? Cheer to the players, ask for autographs after a half centimeter offside saved Milan? Read my last sentence up there, that is what I think of you. You just proved it.

        1. Let me just remind you, this is Milan fans. Supporting Milan. Not Parma or Venezia. For them this would be amazing.

    2. Bro you come on here and talk shit but I don’t think you know football at all. Como just beat Napoli and Fiorentina back to back. They beat Atalanta earlier this season, and they signed a ton of players in January – Caqueret, Diao, Butez, Douvikas etc. They spent more in January than any other club in Italy. and they have a great manager.

But in your head they’re a Serie B team, because you don’t know 💩 about 💩

  12. İgor should go the pitch and play beter maybe. . İt seems he Wilo never be satistied. There are lots of them. Only ic the team wins, they support the team. Silly. Maybe he leaves writing comments ic the team go like this and support inter Huh?
