ANSA: Torino’s latest signing a big clue regarding Milan’s plan for Pobega

Torino have bolstered their midfield with the signing of talented young midfielder Samuele Ricci, and it appears to be a big clue regarding the future of Tommaso Pobega.

As ANSA write (via MilanNews), the Granata have moved to snap up the young Empoli talent, who has been called up by Italy boss Roberto Mancini for the latest training camp of the national team. Ricci joins via the formula of a loan with obligation to buy, and the 20-year-old is certainly a prospect with a bright future.

In the top flight this year, he has already made 21 appearances and has scored one goal with the Tuscan side, and he should settle into the double pivot in the 3-4-2-1 formation that Ivan Juric has been using.

It is also a big sign about what the future holds for Pobega as per the report, because it confirms that he is destined to return to Milan who sent him on loan to Turin for the season. The player will be able to complete the season with Torino and further his growth, and then will be assessed by the Rossoneri in preseason.
