AC Milan are always looking to improve themselves and a report has suggested they used the visit to Madrid to gain some inspiration.
There are few better clubs than Real Madrid to learn from given their recent successes, so Milan aimed to learn on their travels this week. As Tuttosport (via Milan News) write, the Rossoneri visited the Valdebebas training ground of Real to take inspiration from the available facilities.
Improving Milanello has been a welcomed idea in recent times, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic surrounding the training ground with protection in the summer, and it seems the club are not done there. In fact, the Diavolo want to make the facility more efficient and modern, and visiting the state-of-the-art facility has ‘given the club food for thought’.
The club used the visit to assess the feasibility of any upgrade work on the actual structure of their own sports centre – aiming to learn every possible area of concern.
The trip was also used to strengthen the bond between the two clubs, and Giorgio Furlani met with Florentino Perez in the training ground itself. So whilst he will have taken some inspiration from the building itself, he may have learned about some niche details from Los Blancos’ president.
