AC Milan are still in the market for a new centre-forward, and Joaquin Panichelli is one of the names they are looking at.
According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), Milan could be active in the January window, especially if the team are still in contention for the Scudetto. The newspaper believes they need to expand their squad with a defensive signing, with the club potentially targeting a more experienced player.

In addition to going for a potential starter for the centre-back role, sporting director Igli Tare is also pondering the idea of bringing in a new wing-back, but much could depend on Zachary Athekame’s growth and performances.
Striker on the agenda
Finally, there’s still talk of a potential attacking signing. Santiago Gimenez is not an Olivier Giroud-style centre-forward, and thus the Milan management are reflecting on the idea of signing a natural striker when the window reopens.
According to the newspaper, Milan are monitoring the development of Joaquin Panichelli, a 23-year-old Argentine at Strasbourg. He has scored eight goals in 11 games so far across all competitions, and is in the running for the Ligue 1 top scorer title.
It remains to be seen whether Milan will make a move for him in January or if he’ll be a potential option for next season.
