Report: Milan emerge as potential destination for Sporting midfielder

AC Milan have emerged as a possible destination for Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes this summer, a report claims.

As has been suggested by Portuguese newspaper A Bola, the Rossoneri are now one of a number of clubs that have been linked with a move for Nunes who seems keen to leave the Portuguese capital this summer.

It is known that Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League are big fans of the 23-year-old who is capable of playing in central midfield as well as pushing further forward through the middle.

His output was not incredible last season as he got four goals and five assists across all competitions but he would certainly bring more technical quality to Stefano Pioli’s midfield.

It is reported that the player was actually offered to Milan so the Rossoneri may decide not to pursue a move. He could be an alternative option to Renato Sanches should he move to PSG.

  1. The Sporting player we should be signing is Pedro Gonçalves, but unfortunately I’m afraid we don’t have budget for that one at the moment 😅

  2. Can someone plz tell me what Sanchez would do at PSG? Why would he sign for them – he will be a bench warmer!
