News has emerged this afternoon that AC Milan are preparing another bid for Granit Xhaka in the next few days.
Igli Tare has been working overtime to get a deal for Xhaka in a good place. After all, Milan could massively use someone of his profile. On the pitch, he provides another solid midfielder, but his leadership qualities are what make him a standout.
So, the club are hoping to make him one of the first additions of the summer, and so far, their chances look strong. Especially with him seemingly pushing for the move after agreeing to a deal.
‘All in’
According to Calciomercato.com, Tare is ‘all in’ on the midfielder, hence his decision to travel to Germany to negotiate earlier this month. Whilst the Rossoneri were unsuccessful at first, they are going to have another go.
Last Friday, the Diavolo made a bid of €10 million, but it was not seen as enough for the German side, who hope for a figure near the €16m mark. So, another bid is expected in the next few days, as the report states.
With this bid, Milan should go closer to the asking price, perhaps including bonuses to aid the deal. There are positive signs, certainly, and with Xhaka’s position, only the issue with Leverkusen must be resolved.
And again, they ask for 16 and we offer 38% less than asking. Why is this management’s first offer always a joke?

This exactly my question. Its a time waster. Just pay the money and move to the next target. Why waste time?
Does it matter if they get the deal done? The mercato isn’t even open yet?
No one remember the haggling or the 1st offer. All that matters is the sum the deal goes through.
13. done
Because this almost 33 years old, washed up albanian is not worth 16 million. Nobody in a sane mind would pay 16 for this.
He joined Bayer for 15 two years ago. There is no way his value risen being 2 years older. Only Milan is stupid enough to splash huge amount of money for those, who’s market value will be close to 0 once they are acquired.
Imagine Milan selling somebody who is about to get 33 for 15 million. This would never happen in a million years.
An absolute waste of resources.

I’d like to Invite the Cardinale management lovers to answer, 1)How much did Milan sell Reijnders for?
And 2) why are we still negotiating for this one for about 10M only?
