There are only a few days between winning last night and AC Milan’s next game on Friday night against Pisa at San Siro.
It is two games in six days for Milan, as they are already beginning to prepare for this weekend’s game against a newly promoted Pisa side. On paper, it should be six points in as many days, but the Cremonese game tells us not to be so overly confident; anything can happen.

With the scheduling of the games, too, the Rossoneri may need to rotate players, with the bench looking extremely limited as it already is. So, Massimiliano Allegri will hope for some recovery in the week.
Preparation underway
However, he has already been given a boost. Daniele Longo reports for Calciomercato.com that the team were at Milanello today for a recovery session. However, there were also some updates provided on two players.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christopher Nkunku, both of whom were pulled from this weekend’s game due to concerns, should be back for this weekend’s game. The Englishman continued with his treatment, which should see him back ready for Friday night.
After last night’s game, it will be interesting to see how and who would be changed for Pisa, but one would imagine that Zachary Athekame would return to the bench, allowing Alexis Saelemaekers to move back out wide, and one of the returnees or Santiago Gimenez would join Rafael Leao.

Allegri is bad…Santi is KING everyone knows that…..
Do u just listen to Rafas music or was that Rafa tryna be slick🤔😂
I want to see RLC gone ASAP!!
Sorry but Allegri loves him…and he is playing well. I doubt you’ll get your wish anytime soon.
In case of Ruben Loftus cheek, when you have a player with body frame without creativity, there is always huge limitations, the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona & man city are always at the top of world football because of quality and creative players in their ranks, look at the big difference made by modric inclusion
Milan needs to change transfer plans and focus on few quality players in the next transfer market.. Forza Milan
Yh he is good for driving the ball from deep and also take a shot sometimes that’s it. His positioning is not good
This isn’t rocket science. They’re always at the top of football because they can drop 60M on a player without blinking. Money doesn’t grow on trees. Madrid is the highest grossing club on the planet. Barcelona has nearly gone bankrupt a couple of times in the last few years and City are bankrolled by a petrostate. Since we’re not going to be Madrid or City any time soon, I guess we can flirt with bankruptcy and starting again from Serie D as Milan F.C.
Only change should be Gimenez for Athekame. Hes not scoring but hes getting us penalties and working hard. Ricci should get to continue with Modric and Fofana.
RLC and Nkunku will make good subs.
I agree with this, but I bet you Allegri will bench Ricci and start RLC in his place. So it will be Gimenez and Leao up top, and Fofana, Modric and RLC in the middle. Allegri has a hard on for his veterans.
Sure, Gimenez hasn’t been scoring but he’s doing other things well. And once he starts scoring, he won’t stop. It’s only a matter of time.
Gimenez takes markers off Leao’s shoulder and he gives Leao the chance to roam around in the attack… Now its time for Leao to get himself more involve in attacks and making himself always available for any pass from the midfield
