CorSera: Milan set price tag for Leao amid Chelsea interest and complex renewal

AC Milan would be forced to consider offers if Rafael Leao were to not renew his contract with the club, and a price has reportedly been set.

Today’s edition of the Corriere della Sera (via PianetaMilan) speas about the much discussed issue of Leao’s contract renewal as he continues his Serie A MVP form from last season with eight goal contributions already to his name.

The Portuguese winger is one of the most coveted players in Europe. During the summer transfer market, many informal offers arrived, with the probability that in January they could become concrete.

Chelsea are leading the race and during the Champions League match on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge they will have the opportunity to watch Leao up close. Paolo Maldini was clear: no player in the world is non-transferable, but for less than €100m Leao will not go anywhere.

Maldini also mentioned how Leao seems to have expressed a will to stay, which will be an absolutely crucial starting point in the negotiations.
