Match report
With the visitors sitting in sixth, it was expected that Giovanni Renna would have a bit of a tough time, as they looked to secure safety in the Campionato Primavera 1. They were actually the more aggressive side early on.
Within 15 minutes, they had overcome the initial threats of La Dea and began creating some of their own. Scotti was taking charge of the game, hoping to make an impact. Yet, he struggled to make the most of some difficult chances.
It became the theme of the first 45, with Scotti dominating the game. However, he nor his teammates could find the net.
As the second half began, it was clear that there had been a slight momentum shift with the visitors looking threatening on several occasions. Yet, even at their peak, it was the Diavolo creating the better chances.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t take advantage of their moments, though, and they were forced to accept a 0-0 draw. Not a bad result, but they had chances to make it a better one.
