Milan Primavera managed to build on their win last weekend with another one today, beating a struggling Napoli side thanks to Filippo Scotti’s brace.
Last weekend, Giovanni Renna’s men bounced back after a tough run of results. Two goals were enough to beat a ten-man Genoa side, and the Rossoneri walked away with an important confidence boost.

Sure enough, that confidence helped them secure another win today. Taking on 15th-placed Napoli, who were coming off two defeats, Milan found the back of the net twice (again) through their captain Filippo Scotti, who definitely stole the show.
Both teams had a couple of good chances in the first half, but it was in the second that the deadlock was broken. After receiving a free-kick on the edge of the box, Scotti stepped up and left the goalkeeper stranded with a lovely curling effort.

Napoli struggled to create chances after that, so instead of an equaliser, Milan made sure to double the lead on the counter. Scotti found Francesco Domnieti on the left flank, made a run into the box, and then got the ball back before firing it into the back of the net.

The game finished 2-1, as Napoli pulled one back with a penalty, and Milan are now seventh as a result. That said, they do have one more game played than most teams, though they can definitely start believing in making the Scudetto play-offs with this form.
