Milan Primavera 2-0 Torino: Bakoune and Bonomi put Guidi’s side top

AC Milan’s Primavera side made it two wins from two to begin the new season as they scored a goal in each half to beat Torino 2-0 last night.

After their 4-0 victory over Udinese, the Primavera beat Torino 2-0 on matchday 2 to remain top of the league on maximum points alongside Roma, Fiorentina and Lazio. Goals from Bakoune (13’) and Bonomi (an 87th-minute penalty) proved decisive for the Rossoneri.

Guidi’s side opened the scoring early on and stood firm under pressure. At the PUMA House of Football, the Rossoneri kept their second consecutive clean sheet with a brilliant defensive performance.

After a cagey start, Milan opened the scoring from a corner, which was taken by Stalmach and finished by Bakoune at the back post. Stalmach almost went from provider to scorer as he let fly with a left-footed effort that finished inches off target.

The win was sealed late on when Bonomi was fouled in the area on the counter and stepped up to convert the resulting penalty, sealing the victory and the continuation of a perfect start.
