AC Milan’s Primavera side left it late but they avoided defeat in their first game of 2023, earning a 2-2 draw with Napoli after a second half comeback.
Milan trailed 1-0 at the break after a goal by Gioielli and when Spavone doubled the advantage early in the second half, it looked like being a long afternoon for Ignazio Abate’s side.
However, the visitors were unable to hold on as Gala halved the deficit not long after Napoli’s second, and in the dying seconds of added time the captain El Hilali rescued a point with a strike from the edge of the box.

Again a match in which they dominate the play, but the defence and the goalkeeper is still poor.

Coubis, Traore and El Hilali stand out at this level. Coubis seems certain to break into the senior squad soon, he’s big, strong and quick. He’s a modern wingback. Traore has insane technique. El Hilali seems to be an intelligent forward.
Coubis yes. I want to see a bit more of Hilali but so far seems good. Alesi is the other. Apart from those I don’t rate much. I’ll also need to see Chaka too but from Parma I recall him being good…he should have had a few games in the senior squad by now tho
