Milan Primavera 3-0 Juventus: Bonomi scores twice to secure victory – the highlights

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan Primavera got the better of Juventus on Saturday thanks to a flurry of first-half goals that secured a 3-0 victory.

It seemed as though the two teams were going to be heading into the break with the scores level as nobody could find the breakthrough, but Milan then found it with dramatic effect.

In the 43rd minute, Victor Eletu lofted the ball over the top for Alessandro Bonomi who produced a superb touch and lofted finish to make it 1-0.

Immediately afterwards, there was an overhead kick assist from Diego Sia which allowed Filippo Scotti to make it 2-0 with a neat finish.

Milan were not done there as with the final action of the first half, Scotti turned provider as he ran from his own half and played the ball across to Bonomi who was able to finish and get his second of the afternoon.

The second half did not begin in the best manner as Clinton Nsiala was shown his second yellow card and Milan were down to 10 players. Despite that, Juventus could not get back into things and were then reduced to 10 players themselves when Diego Ripani was sent off with just over 10 minutes to play.
