AC Milan Primavera 1-1 Liverpool: Substitute Nasti secures point with equaliser

AC Milan Primavera ended their UEFA Youth League group stage campaign by holding Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at the Vismara this afternoon.

Milan’s Primavera side won their first point in the UEFA Youth League by drawing 1-1 with Atlético Madrid at home back in September but they had lost the other four games going into this game against Liverpool.

The Rossoneri’s European conquest for this season ended in a draw, with the Reds having arrived in Italy looking for points to secure qualification for the next round of the UEFA Youth League. Giunti’s team started slow and went behind within four minutes but levelled the game 12 minutes from time through the substitute Nasti.

After the league win against SPAL and the recent victory over Juve, it is good that it was followed up with important performance for morale. Now attention turns to Saturday’s trip to Sampdoria.
