The Archie Brown saga has taken another twist on Friday night, as AC Milan and Fenerbache are in a private jet battle.
A few days ago, rumours started circulating about a potential move to Milan for Brown and on Thursday night Matteo Moretto stated that the Rossoneri were closing in on the left-back, battling it out with Fenerbahce.

It seemed, though, that the Rossoneri had lost the race. The Belgian newspaper Nieuwsblad stated that Brown was on a flight to Turkey where negotiations with Fenerbahce would continue in Istanbul and that the deal would completed this weekend.
Private jet saga begins
Naturally, nothing is ever straightforward when it comes to the transfer window, and especially the Milan mercato, so tonight there has been yet another twist in things.
Fabrizio Romano published an update, stating: “More on Archie Brown exclusive story. AC Milan have now sent private jet for the fullback at Bruxelles airport as they hope to agree personal terms.
“Fenerbahçe had also sent a private jet hours ago. Both clubs agreed €8m fee with Gent but decision is up to the player.”
Matteo Moretto writes: “Milan has sent a private plane to Brussels to pick up Archie Brown, who has always prioritized a transfer to the Rossoneri. Fenerbahçe has also reserved a jet for the left-back. Decisive and final hours for the future of the Gent footballer.”

Something like this costs less than $15,000 per hour of flight time. Genk to Milan is around 1 hour and 15 minutes of flight time.
If they’re willing to buy him for around 10M, this expense is just chump change.

What is with these stupid comments, relative to how massive the club is or any club in Europe is, sending a jet to fly your player to do his medical is nothing.
Mind you Theo was an unknown to everyone when he joined the club, it was only those who watched him that knew he was worth it. But saying all of that, if you watch Archie you know he is more akin to the kind of profile Milan should be going for than any other player who is out there, and it has nothing to do with the price point.
He has the right physical build which is important, he has a forward thinking approach as a full back which is important and he is young. Is he technically an exceptional player, I don’t know. But he does have more boxes ticked than most other options.
Maldini made a great choice in bring in Kerkez, but he was also the same person who got him sold when it was clear if you watched pre-season games that kerkez should be playing first team football. So this player Archie wouldn’t even been a topic if Milan kept him. But this isnt all Maldini fault as he also almost got Antonee Robinson, but Serie A medical rules ruined that deal and he was a nobody and now he is racking up assist and being a good defender as well at Fulham.
Archie can be exceptional in all the right areas given how good he already looks. I think this deal needs to be a priority as much as Jashari, because it removes another problem this squad has with Theo gone.

Considering it’s only Milan battling Fener for this kid, it’s only appropriate we apply same logic to this transfer as many did with Theo’s. No other big European clubs wants him therefore he’s trash.
Too early for judge this kid is trash, he is still young and not yet play for ACM , also he is only cost 10m euro ( half from ACM pay to RM to buy theo) . Lets see until one season ( if he join ACM ). Theo first season under giampaolo & pioli also awful too, he is better in second season with pioli
