Report: Milan consider PSG’s asking price for Diallo too high

By Euan Burns -

AC Milan think that the price Paris Saint Germain want for Abdou Diallo is too high for them, a report claims.

As has been reported by French website RMC Sport, the French champions are willing to let Diallo leave the club this summer as they are looking to recruit at least two defenders.

Their demands for the player are not specifically mentioned in the report but he joined from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 for €32 million so it is assumed that they would like a fee somewhere close to that figure.

The Rossoneri are certainly interested in the 26-year-old Senegalese international but it would take a serious reduction from PSG for the deal to really get off the ground.

PSG have just announced that Christophe Galtier will be the new coach so the pair will meet and discuss the future of the player. Diallo had dropped down the pecking order under Mauricio Pochettino.

    1. Yeah, I mean, Kehrer and Diallo look nothing alike, there’s no resemblance at all. Another bad look for SM, after insisting in calling Alcaraz, Alvarez…

  1. Just a thought here, but maybe Milan should be looking at players who are affordable, rather than ones who are out of their financial reach…

Or maybe they are and this is just the press making things up. Diallo is on a wage similar to Milan’s highest earners already.
