GdS: Milan have three PSG players in their sights deemed surplus to requirements

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have shown a willingness in the recent past to try and exploit the opportunities as top clubs look to offload players, and they are now aiming at Paris Saint-Germain.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports that PSG have plans to make some big signings but to make room for the new reinforcements they will have to sell some players that are not considered part of their plans, with Julian Draxler, Abdou Diallo and Thilo Kehrer among them.

Milan are interested in all three but at the moment there are no negotiations, only ideas and evaluations being made. The most fascinating name to the management is Draxler who was considered one of the most interesting young talents in world football, but he has found playing time hard to come by in Paris.

At Milan he could have a leading role and relaunch himself as an attacking midfielder, a role in which the Rossoneri are looking for someone with quality, while he can also play as a winger if needed.

The other two players are centre-backs, and Diallo is an old target that could be back in fashion and who could arrive on loan, while Kehrer is could be useful for the Rossoneri and has a contract with PSG until 2023 so may leave for a low fee.
