MN: Milan raise their offer to Bennacer in latest meeting but a distance remains

AC Milan have raised their salary offer to Ismael Bennacer but have not yet found an agreement over a renewal, a report claims.

MilanNews are reporting that Milan have raised their offer to the midfielder and did so during a meeting that took place this afternoon at Casa Milan between the Milan management and Enzo Raiola, who has been representing the Algerian midfielder for a few weeks as his new agent.

Bennacer’s request since the renewal talks began has always been around €4.5m net per season, both with Moussa Sissoko as agent and with the advent of Raiola as his new representative. From what emerges, Milan’s bid has risen to around €4m net per season fixed.

There seems to be the margins for reaching an agreement, but further meetings may be needed to bring the two parties together, who want to continue the journey together. It is a constantly evolving situation, but with an optimistic starting pont.
