Quite easily, AC Milan were able to beat Salernitana at San Siro last night. It was the perfect game for the Rossoneri as they didn’t waste too much energy ahead of the clash against Liverpool on Tuesday.
Franck Kessie opened the scoring early on and Alexis Saelemaekers followed that up with a curling effort. Although Milan have many chances to score more, and probably should have, the game ended 2-0.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) took stock of the performances and there were three players that stood out for Milan. The goalscorers and Alessandro Florenzi, who started in the right-back position and was very involved throughout the game.
The trio received a 7/10 while the likes of Ismael Bennacer, Brahim Diaz, Rafael Leao and Junior Messias stopped at 6.5. The rest of the team got a 6 and Rade Krunic was praised for his performance ‘out of position’, playing as the centre-forward, but still doing well.
