A very negative season for AC Milan will have obvious consequences, with some major changes planned ahead of the 2025-26 season.

According to Corriere dello Sport, there will be a ‘revolution’ at the top levels of the club. Desks will be cleared, new ones will be added, some offices will see tenants move, there will be a new coach, significant sales and several signings.

New sporting director

The first figure that will be introduced is that of the new sporting director. In pole position is Igli Tare, former director at Lazio for 15 years alongside Claudio Lotito.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerry Cardinale met him last week in London, but a new meeting is planned for next week to better define the issue and only then will they make a decision.

With the postponement of the meeting, therefore, it is not to be excluded that – in addition to the option of Fabio Paratici – there could be a new surprise name that emerges, whether from the Italian or foreign market.

The project

Inside the Rossoneri management, on the other hand, there is no single idea that has unanimous agreement about how to get things back on track. In fact, there is even talk of a strong divide.

It is a normal situation within a working group with many minds: there are different ideas, but then it is important to reach a common solution that, in this specific case, is in the best interest of the club.

The only certain thing at the moment is that Geoffrey Moncada – with the arrival of the new sporting director – will return more permanently to the role that is most congenial to him: chief scout.

He will have tasks that keep him in close contact with the sporting part of the management of course, still formed by Ibrahimovic (Senior Advisor of Red Bird) and Giorgio Furlani (the CEO).

The coach

The choice of the sporting director will be followed by that of the new coach for next year and the player pool for the next season. In the meantime, however, the current one must be finished with dignity.

Sergio Conceiçao, on the eve of the match against Lazio, had promised that from the match against the Biancocelesti onwards a new season would begin for Milan.

It is clear that what has happened up to now cannot be erased and reset, because the team carry the (few) points won in the 27 league games already played, but having full weeks of work available can only benefit the coach and the players.

Then, the intention – and the objective – is that it is only a transition period. The club considers the failure to qualify for a European competition, whatever it may be, unacceptable.

The Champions League is unattainable, but they will have to fight until the end for the Europa League (also possible with the victory of the Coppa Italia) or, at least, for the Conference League.

The revolution at the top levels, after all, will serve precisely to avoid certain situations from repeating themselves next year.

  1. I’m telling you, the f***ng sporting director must not be someone who is f***ng distance from the players. Who is the hell is Tare. #f***nbringbackMaldini.

    1. Who the hell is Tare? Are you new to Serie A?

We don’t need Maldini back. We need to move forward and bring in someone experienced and competent as a SD.

  2. There is no 360 unless Redturd sells Milan. Cardinale is an arrogant fool who believes he can reinvent the wheel with incompetent and inexperienced management and that’s the reason why Milan is a disaster.

Scaroni, Furlani, Ibra and Moncada all need to go and be replaced by experienced competent people who understand the sporting side of management a successful club.

if that doesn’t happen then nothing will change.

  3. More importantly, what is the vision for the new project going forward. What does success look like. Who will streamline and spearhead the recruiting activities…all these things need to be considered to effectively deal with this mess that started 3 seasons ago. If we dismantle everything based on emotions then we replace one situation with a poorly defined next situation. We require cool and clear heads to make rationale decisions.

  4. 360 is the perfect explanation of the changes to come.
All the people that are responsible for this disaster, mostly because of their incompetence, get to keep their position or are just moved to different ones. No one gets fired, Instead budget is encumbered with another huge paycheck, a new SD, whose entire purpose is to make sure nothing changes. He is there so Moncada keeps his job, he is there to make sure incompetent Zlatan keeps meddling in sporting decisions.

It truly is a revolution that will achieve nothing, but keep the thigs as they are. A full circle just to spend more money on a person that will contributed noting.

  5. The standard of journalism hits a new low. Do these fools not understand that 360 degrees means coming back to the same position?

  6. They will cook up some more mess and we will continue to struggle for another year or two. RedTurd will eventually default on the loan and we will be back in Elliot’s hands.

  7. “360deg” just feels like another circlej*rk between RedBird and Elliott factions at Milan.

If the ownership and philosophy doesn’t change, neither will Milan, whether you spin 360 or 180.

  8. #saveMilan#
180 % if redbird out along with their clown.
High tone Ibra, moneyball scouting Moncada and Furlani.
