Tuttosport: Milan ready to rival Liverpool for signing of Eintracht Frankfurt star

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan retain an interest in signing centre-back Evan N’Dicka when his deal runs out at the end of the season, according to a report.

The centre-back department is fairly well stocked for Milan as they are able to count upon three of the best young defenders in the league in Fikayo Tomori, Pierre Kalulu and Malick Thiaw, but there are question marks about Simon Kjaer’s ability to contribute consistently and Matteo Gabbia’s status in the squad.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have never given up on the idea of signing N’Dicka from Eintracht Frankfurt having been linked with him in previous windows, and now his deal runs out soon the opportunity is even greater.

However, Milan are not alone in their admiration for the 23-year-old Frenchman as Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Liverpool are one of the clubs interested too.

Romano wrote in his CaughtOffside column: “Evan Ndicka is one of the names they are considering, not the only one. There are 4/5 clubs keen on signing Ndicka as free agent – and I’m sure Liverpool will have a list with many players as they plan to strengthen the defence.”

  1. Get ndicka free transfer . He can play as LB too. After sign ndicka , better sell one of this tomori or kalulu for funding striker. Tomori can be sold to EPL for 50-60m euro with chelsea & newcastle still finding defender

    1. I like the idea of signing Ndicka and selling Tomori, but come on, be realistic, nobody is paying 50-60 mil for Tomori.
Chelsea just sold him to you last season for 30, why would they pay 60 mil 2 years later especially after how bad he has played. Matter fact he gifted them the easiest 2 wins Chelsea had this season when they beat us twice in the UCL.

  2. Get ndicka for free ,he can play as LB too and strong in aerial duel. Sell tomori to EPL club for 50-60m euro to buy striker after we sign ndicka. Chelsea & newcastle in market find new defender in summer, i believe we can offer them tomori

  3. Let me see if I can predict how this will go with N’Dicka

    Liverpool: we want you
    Milan: we want you to

Liverpool: we will pay you 8M/season
Milan: we have a wage cap so we can only pay you 2.5M/season

CUT TO: Liverpool press conference announcing N’Dicka lol.

    END OF STORY

  4. Move Kalulu to RB and let Tomori, Ndicka and Thiaw compete for the CB position. Release Kjaer en Florenzi. Keep Gabbia, we never know with injuries and when rotation is needed. Use Calabria in the double pivot to help Tonali and Bennacer with rotation. Get Aouar for free to help CDK, and spent some money on a decent young stricker and a rightwinger. Release Origi and Rebic.
