Journalist claims Milan are in three-horse race for Güler with decision in next 48 hours

AC Milan remain in the running to sign Arda Güler and he will tell Fenerbahce who he wants to join in the next 48 hours, a report claims.

Milan were heavily linked with a move for the 18-year-old sensation last month but then things seemed to go quiet as it emerged that LaLiga looked a more likely destination given the strong pressing of Barcelona and Real Madrid.

According to what is being reported by the reliable journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, Güler has arrived in Istanbul and will decide which team he will join shortly.

Then, he will inform Fenerbahce’s management about his decision and they will go from there to try and agree everything with that club.

There are three teams that have been in official contact for the teenager in the last 48 hours according to Sabuncuoğlu. Barcelona and Real Madrid are unsurprisingly two of them, but Milan are the third.

Therefore, it seems as though Geoffrey Moncada never gave up on the idea of luring one of Turkey’s top talents to Italy, where they can perhaps offer more guaranteed playing time than the two El Clasico clubs.
