Tuttosport: Milan to discuss early permanent signing of Brahim Diaz but want a discount

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will meet with Real Madrid at the end of the season to try and discuss a deal for Brahim Diaz a year early, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that in the coming weeks the management of Milan will meet their counterparts from Real Madrid to talk about the loan of Brahim Diaz, who rejoined last summer on a two-year loan.

The Rossoneri would like to bring forward his permanent signing by a year, but Los Blancos do not intend to offer any discounts and also do not want to lose control of him which is why they put a buy-back in the original deal.

Milan have the option to buy Brahim for €22m but are seemingly going to try and bring that down because his performances this season have been more bad than good given the playmaker’s last goal was back in September in the win over Spezia.

  1. Ffs don’t waste money on him, it’s his 2nd season and its clear to see that he’s not going to be like tonali and kalulu

  2. This a dumb move by Milan management, Diaz is a flop, and if by some kind of miracle he start to improve Real will just activate their buy back clause leaving Milan to look for a new #10, but if Diaz continue to perform below par he becomes Milan problem, just let him go now!!!

  3. All smoke and mirrors. Strong feeling they’re going for Marcelo as an experienced back up option (similar to Florenzi at RB) for Theo given Marcello’s contract ends in June. Otherwise it could be Jovic they might be negotiating
