The market axis between AC Milan and Real Madrid is already heating up ahead of the summer with two players being discussed, we have learned.
According to our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Real Madrid want to bring Brahim Diaz back from his loan at Milan a year early, and that puts a spanner in the plans of the Rossoneri management who will find themselves with a void to fill in the role of attacking midfielder.
It is precisely for this reason that Milan have opened talks with Sassuolo to try and sign Hamed Junior Traorè, a player with characteristics similar to those of Brahim but who has better numbers.
Milan can use Real Madrid’s plan to their advantage though and that is why they have opened talks to sign Marco Asensio for the right winger. The Spaniard’s contract is expiring in 2023 and he is looking his next club.
The excellent relations between Paolo Maldini and Florentino Perez – as seen in the Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz talks – could make the difference. Once that obstacle has been overcome, what remains is to find an agreement with the player who earns €5m net per season currently, while Milan would be willing to offer player €4m plus bonuses to arrive at €5m.

Forget about Asensio , give Persic the 3 year contract he wants, at 5 mil per year and play him at RW , his natural position
Just give Asensio 6m euro nett + starting spot in RW. AMF are full with adili ,brahim and krunic can play as AMF , but i hope they return brahim to real madrid or sell krunic to sign Charles ketelare as replacement in AMF

As for the Perisic idea, he is definitely better than Asensio. He’s got more speed than Asensio, he can jump as high as Ronaldo to head in crosses/corners, and his crossing ability with either foot is perhaps the best in the world. Perisic is one of the most underrated players in the world.
If we could actually get Perisic away from Inter, then I think we would be favorites to win Scudetto next year (subject to whatever other pieces Juve adds to their team after the Vlahovic signing already this year).
and watching the Inter v Spezia match now, we can see yet again how valuable Perisic is. He delivers one perfect beautiful cross after another, his speed can’t be dealt with by Spezia and his energy and nonstop running is amazing. It would be so great if we can take him away from Inter.
Damn Spezia owed us a favor after what happened at San Siro but doesn’t look like they will help us out now that it’s 2-0 after Perisic’s 8th assist of the season (5 in Serie A, 2 in CL, 1 in Coppa).
