And about my comment, it is more important for me to point out there are people that became Boniface fans over Milan and kept writing that he is 100% fit, why would Milan do additional checks or even that the club is racist. I have been saying signings are in total – bad, an no real effort for a striker has been made, + that Tare isn’t any magician for making money for Redbird while keeping us with a single striker in 3-5-2, or keeping this shambolic defence. This is the problem, too many changes this season and last season and only one change with CDK after winning the scudetto, a young talent from Belgium needing time. Maldini was right, we only needed 2-3 quality signings then. Real quality. We didn’t and now we’re in the process of another revolution. Squad turnover is too high and these things take time. I do think allegri will get us there.
We should have retained Kessie and romagnoli, held tonali and reijnders also. The Milan of old never sold their quality, now we’re a feeder club making 10-15m profit on players at best, many haven’t worked out. We needed that oil money where the Arabs are competing to be the best family not operating to make money trading players. Also that whole situation of Elliott selling at that time impacted that summer market. We missed the beginning, operating in the dark until the last few weeks. The sacking of Maldini who for his flawes (which were due to him being new in the role but was growing) is just about the biggest pull for any player linked to Milan. That market was the pivotal moment, we should have been unleashed from there, instead we’ve gone pop!

His knee gotta be in a pretty bad shape for Bayer to be willing to let him go on such a favorable and cheap deal, and then Milan to pass on that deal.
I guess now we know why his transfer in January failed in the last minute.

There is a reason why more tests were conducted. I’m glad it happened, otherwise we’d be in a world of trouble until January if he got injured. I am 100% for this decision, even if Victor is a beast physically. Hopefully now we get Vlahović. It was the plan anyway to wait until final week of mercato to go for him.
This is the worst transfer window since 12/13. It doesn’t get better by bringing in Vlahovic, Rabiot and Demiral either. Allegri & Tare should be nowhere near top-level football.

If the deal for Boniface doesn’t materialize, it won’t be because of his physical condition. It’s Milan backtracking because they fear the signing won’t please the right persons. Boniface was Tare’s solution and he is the best option. He fits our financial schedule and is technically the best option. Allegri wants Vlahovic, but if we sign him we’ll take over a lot of problems that Juve currently have. First of all he’s a good player, but not a great player. He will cause economical turmoil because he can’t justify breaking our 6 mil wage limit. We’ll also help Juventus financially and that will come back to haunt us, like it did in the past (remember Matri, Bonucci, …). The best thing they can do is sign Boniface on loan now and add another young talent. If Boniface struggles phisically, they can go back to Vlahovic in January and get him almost for free. I don’t believe our season would be over if we play with Boniface until then. And I don’t believe he will be injured right away. If we don’t sign him, watch him score elsewhere. If we trade Saelemaekers for Vlahovic, I will travel personally to Milan and eliminate the person responsible.
