AC Milan feel confident that they can get two deals over the line as talks with agent Jorge Mendes continue, according to one journalist.
Speaking on Carlo Pellegatti’s Instagram account, Carlo Laudisa of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) spoke about the negotiations for the renewal of winger Rafael Leao and he also confirmed the Rossoneri’s interest in Renato Sanches plus the notion that talks are on over him.
Laudisa reports that are works in progress for both the renewals of Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer, both expiring in 2024, but Leao too. The forward’s agent is the same as Renato Sanches in Jorge Mendes and talks with him have been going on for a few weeks.
There is ‘positive news’ to report because after the offer of the Rossoneri management there was a counter-bid from Mendes and while there is still no agreement there are signs that things are heading in the right direction.
In the same way, there is a ‘pact’ for Renato Sanches as per the journalist. The Portuguese international has a deal expiring with Lille in 2023, and he could be the man who comes in to succeed Franck Kessie, with Milan optimistic they can land him.
