GdS: Milan have five-year deal ready for Renato Sanches – Lille’s asking price emerges

AC Milan want to bolster the midfield department with a signing of quality and they are still moving full steam ahead to try and sign Renato Sanches, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirm our report from earlier in the week by stating that Renato Sanches is the man that has become the number one target over the last few months now when it comes to reinforcing the midfield and replacing Franck Kessie.

The 24-year-old is having a season of exceptional performances for Lille and he has already made it clear that he would be very much in favour of joining the Rossoneri, where he would reunite with his friend Mike Maignan.

However Milan must beware of European and Italian competition (from Juve) and that is why they have been in dialogue with his entourage for some time, after which they will speak to Lille, something that could be difficult if they wish to start an auction.

The Portuguese international’s valuation is around €20-25m at the moment, but the last part of the season could potentially increase the price. Milan are ready to offer a five-year deal worth €3-3.5m net per season, so a commitment of €15-17.5m.
