AC Milan are looking to sign a midfielder of quality in the summer to replace Franck Kessie and Renato Sanches remains the main name, a report claims.
According to reports this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Lille midfielder remains the first choice of the Rossoneri management to reinforce that particular department in the summer transfer market.
There are a couple of hitches at the moment though which concern the player’s demands from a salary point of view which are high, and also his condition which raises some doubts because he has had several injury problems in the last couple of seasons.
With Milan in the midst of being most probably taken over by Investcorp in the next few weeks it may just be that such operations are put on pause for the time being before details of the new budget become available, but Renato for now is still a target.
