GdS: Milan plan to renegotiate terms of agreement with Real Madrid over forward

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping to be able to negotiate with Real Madrid to keep Brahim Diaz beyond his loan spell, according to a report.

Brahim Diaz initially joined Milan on a one-year dry loan from Real Madrid for the 2020-21 season and that was extended by a further two years, and since that was confirmed there has been some disagreement between Spanish and Italian sources as to whether the current loan includes an option to buy and a buy-back or not.

According to what was reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) today, there is a figure pre-agreed as part of the loan deal and it states that Milan must pay €22m in order to sign the Spaniard permanently.

The Rossoneri management would certainly like to keep the former Manchester City man, and talks will soon begin with Los Blancos to renegotiate the figure and try get a lower price.

  1. If they somehow negotiate something to keep him, I might have to stop following this team. His heart is in the right place but I don’t care. He stinks. If they would give Adli the playing time that Diaz gets I guarantee that he would have done at least as well as him. At lest Adli isn’t is a toddler running around and getting pushed off the ball.

I don’t want to see Diaz part of this team anymore if for nothing else so that Pioli stops playing him and is forced to give someone else a try. Because of this I don’t even want him for free. I don’t want him taking up wages and I don’t want him anymore as an option for Pioli to play.
