Sky: Milan hoping to announce three more key renewals imminently

By Oliver Fisher -

While AC Milan work on possible new additions for the summer transfer window they are also looking to tie up three renewals quickly, a report claims.

The Milan management does not stop working and although they are busy with the season finale, they are working hard to bolster and improve the squad. Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it) report that first step to take is to lock down three fundamental elements in Rafael Leao, Ismael Bennacer and Pierre Kalulu to renewals.

Milan are very satisfied with the contribution of the three players who will be part of the backbone of Stefano Pioli’s team in the coming years. Meetings with their agents are expected in the coming weeks to define the extension of the contract of the three players until 2026.

All three agreements have been struck but not signed yet due to the many fixtures between league and cup and also international duty. However, it a different story for Leao who has up to now had some legal complications related to his exit from Sporting CP.

Bennacer should see his current salary doubled from €1.6m net per season but a substantial pay rise also seems on the cards for the other two.
