AC Milan remain confident that Rafael Leao will extend his deal with the club despite the fact that his agent has raised the demands, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by journalist Rudy Galetti, in recent weeks Jorge Mendes has ‘adjusted the requests upwards’ in talks over Leao’s renewal, making a counter-proposal to the offer that the Milan management put on the table.
There are ongoing evaluations between Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, but confidence remains that in the end the Portuguese winger will put pen to paper and extend his contractual deadline beyond the current on of June 2024.
That is not the only news Galetti brings, as he claims that there have also been talked between Milan and Mendes over another one of his clients, namely Renato Sanches of Lille who continues to be strongly linked as a potential reinforcement for a midfield department that is currently set to lose Franck Kessie in the summer.

Another injury-prone player in the squad will help with our season objectives…. Sure, why not?
Oh boy. Here we go with Leao. Hopefully if a renewal is not found by around July 1 that the club sells him, or else we will once again be in another renewal saga that we’ll lose. Hard deadline: If he doesn’t renew by July 1, then sell for 60-80m and use that money to fund his replacement and like two other positions we need upgrades for.
Bye bye leao
Good luck with your new club, just want to say u took 2 years to adapt to this club
