MN: Milan table renewal offer worth at least €18m for star Theo Hernandez

AC Milan are working hard on some key renewals after announcing those of Simon Kjaer, Alexis Saelemaekers and Stefano Pioli. Theo Hernandez is one of them, having become a key player for the Rossoneri. 

The Frenchman has not only cemented his spot in Milan’s starting XI, but he has also impressed with the French national team. In short, it’s crucial for the Rossoneri to renew his contract and avoid another tough contract situation.

According to MilanNews, Milan are now pushing for the renewal of Hernandez, having had many talks with his agent Quilon. In fact, a new offer was proposed on Wednesday: renewal until 2026 with a salary of €4m per year, excluding bonuses.

The left-back currently earns €1.5m per year so it would be quite the step up. The new contract would also include bonuses related to team and individual objectives. It remains to the seen what the response to the offer will be.

  1. How is he not the beast of 2020, the Lad now has more responsibility under his sleeves and their is still enough time for improvement

  2. It is funny that even after renewal nobody knows for sure how much players cost therr employers, but on the renewal process, journalists somehow always come up with numbers.
    This is why people being pushy toward the player during a renewal. Contractual matter is not a public domain in majority of the cases. There is no way a journalist would know how much a club going to pay their players before the contract signed
