It seems AC Milan could get involved in a bidding war against Como for talented Benfica winger Andreas Schjelderup.
The links to Portuguese talents are not ending and it seems that Milan are likely to use the league as a key area of recruitment. Of course, with Jorge Mendes’ involvement, it makes a lot of sense. However, it is placing a lot of trust in these players.

First and foremost, you are asking them to make a large step up to Serie A and acclimatise to a new league instantly, alongside others who are not used to playing in the Italian way, which can be very difficult.
However, with younger players too, you need to be more patient and the demands of Milanisti are sometimes not so forgiving.

3421 was the problem for him at United because the team and especially their defense was not constructed for 3 at the back. And they did not really help him with recruitment job. We, on the other hand already have foundations laid for 3 at the back. 3421 or 343 is what Allegri was supposed to use but was too stubborn. And afraid.
3421 or 343 are currently two perfect systems for Milan’s crop of players.

Agree with Ted and Milanese. United had been playing 4 at the back for a while. They didnt have the personnel nor experience to have a 3 man defense. We, on the other hand, have been playing 3 at the back for a while. In that area at least, Amorim have it easier.
His real problem will be who the 2 pivot midfielders will be and what to do with Leao if he stays.
No way we can compete with Como and Brugge. They are far better places, currently, to be than with us . Especially for a youngster
