AC Milan retain an interest in signing Samuele Ricci and Torino are now seemingly open to cashing in during the summer, a report claims.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport has a report which actually centres around Cesare Casadei. The winter signing has already made an impact since joining from Chelsea and Milan are among three teams to ask about him, but they received a firm rejection from Urbano Cairo.
However, the paper (via MilanPress) speaks of ‘another side of the coin’ for the Granata because if one player stays then another might go. This leads to the possible summer sale of Ricci, a player that has been in Milan’s sights for years now.
Cairo has always rejected all offers received from major European teams, but the news is that the president has set the price of the midfielder of €40m. In the meantime, the player has remained in contact – through his entourage – with the clubs who have made an offer.
In the last days of the winter window, it is believed the Milan management tried to bring a summer move forward to January but were ultimately met by resistance. Ricci recently renewed with Torino until 2028 with no release clause, but with a verbal agreement that he can go for the right price.

Not sure even in-his-prime Galliani could pull off two transfers from Torino, but if we can get Ricci our midfield will already be leaps and bounds better.
