AC Milan are looking for a new right-back, a report claims, and Guéla Doué has ended up on the radar of the management.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport report, there is the need for a new reinforcement on the right side of the defence. Kyle Walker is destined to leave, Emerson Royal will not stay, Alex Jimenez is very talented but is better with the ball than without it, i.e. at attacking than defending.

Jimenez also played as a winger with Sergio Conceiçao, and with Massimiliano Allegri who knows. One thing is sure: another player will have to be taken in that position, possibly with different characteristics.
Milan eyeing Doué
Guéla Doué moved from Rennes to Strasbourg last summer for €6.5m plus bonuses. His little brother Desire went to PSG and was simply the best on the pitch in the Champions League final. In recent months Guéla has grown, he has been a starter, he contributed to Strasbourg’s seventh-placed finish.
He has the characteristics of the profiles chosen by Milan in recent years: he is 22 years old, he has great physical and athletic qualities, he is very quick and can be developed. His character is not in question: his attitude is ‘perfect’.
He must grow technically and in an attacking sense, because now he is better without the ball: he also played as a right centre-back in a three-man defence. Obviously, Milan would be a step forward in his career even without European football.
He knows San Siro, where he played with Rennes in the 2023-24 Europa League. Stefano Pioli’s Milan won 3-0 at home but suffered in the return match in Rennes, with a phenomenal goal by Rafael Leao decisive. Doué would face Rafa again, but this time in training.
