CM: Milan gearing towards a right wing upgrade – three players in the sights

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are thinking about signing a right winger for the summer because Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias are not convincing with their end product, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com report that Domenico Berardi is a name that is on Milan’s wish list and he is a profile that Stefano Pioli really likes the look of, and it is easy to understand why given that he has 12 goals and 14 assists in 26 league games.

Not only that but Berardi has so far scored 10 career goals against Milan, his favourite victim in Serie A, which might be another factor that pushes Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to open concrete talks with Sassuolo.

Club Brugge winger Noa Lang is also a name that attracts interest, given that he has 8 goals and 13 assists in 39 games played this season, and he certainly fuelled the rumours with a recent social media post.

His asking price is €40m though – and Berardi is unlikely to have a significantly lower price tag – so Steven Bergwijn of Tottenham remains an option too. The Dutchman is represented by the agency Muy Manero, the same as Sven Botman, which is another interesting note.
