Oleksandr Zinchenko is rumoured to be a top choice for the Diavolo, but TuttoMercatoWeb reports, via Milan News, that the choice could actually be Maxim De Cuyper, who ‘will leave’ Club Brugge this summer.
The Belgian is a recognised international and comes from one of the best academies. Now, he is ready to make the step to the elite. So, Milan’s tracking of him – which stretches at least 12 months now – makes sense. However, they are not the only ones.
On his path, too, is Brighton, who will also make an attempt for the left-back. Though they are looking to close negotiations quickly, likely due to Milan and Roma both having to sell-to-buy.
So, the quicker that Theo’s situation is solved, the better. His final assist for the Rossoneri, and maybe one of his most important, will be his exit.

To get in the top 6 in the premier league you need cover for every position and of high calibre. Brighton like other clubs has had a lot of injury issues in recent seasons, so is looking for covering players who also challenge the starting eleven. Also Estupian is likely to leave this window.

I don’t understand Milan management. It makes more sense to me to go for an Italian who has played in Serie A.
Signing players in lower leagues like Belgian league required more time for players to adapt. Time is clearly something Milan don’t have. As we have seen with CDK signing.
Udogie and Antonio Gallo from Leece are our best options. Plain and simple. Cambiasso will not be sold to a rival club. Juventus are not stupid.

Other than Udogie, name one singe Italian LB that is young and better than the international profiles being looked at? Not one. Udogie only transferred to Tottenham for 40M last summer.
