A new idea has potentially emerged that might solve the issue regarding the loans of Tammy Abraham and Alexis Saelemaekers, a report claims.
The new sporting director of Milan will have a lot of work to do once he takes over. There are many issues to discuss, such as Abraham’s future at the club. In this final part of the season, the English striker is proving to be very useful with goals and assists.
If the Englishman were to continue to perform in the way he has been, there would be no option but for Milan to think about keeping him. However, the matter is easier said than done, also because the discussions with Roma will surely also extend to Saelemaekers.
Regarding this connection, Il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews) wrote this morning that both players ‘want to stay where they are’. Milan are asking €25-30m for the winger, Roma a little less for the striker, so there is the possibility of striking a deal.
However, a new idea has emerged: a renewal of the loan deals, to postpone the economic problem to 12 months time cannot be ruled out. This will obviously be discussed at the end of the season, as soon as Milan have officially appointed a new sporting director.
Do this business once and move on, I don’t get why trying to delay the whole deal, what if Saelemaekers doesn’t perform well next season and Abraham does well, what next?
We start begging for a discount again.
You can’t expect to get a player like Abraham on loan for 2 seasons. He will want to secure his long term future and other teams will go in for him.
Agreed, make a decision and live with it. They feel he will be good enough, keep him. End of discussion.
He is not Ronaldo, a few weeks ago he couldn’t score to save his life but right now he is in good form. Don’t let the current form trick you. He has never been too good, but right now – for a struggling Milán he’s contributing.
Abraham is good in hold up play, but tbh would prefer Alexis for his versatility.
We would most likely be moving on from Musah, RLC, Royal.
I would start Alexis as a RWB before Jiminez.
For a 3 back formation like 343, Alexis is better than Jimenez. Simple as that. Jimenez is the younger version of Alexis.
if Tamy gone we still have Santi & Camarda (+ maybe Jovic), adapted Santi potentialy better than Tamy.
while watching Salad play like Ronaldinho compared to Chuk/ Musa.
Salad isn’t great player but he is so useful, he cover SB/WB/MF/W both side & sometime as urgent CAM/B2B too
Please bring back our salaamakaer and return Abraham simple.
I don’t really no what milan are thinking about because none of these two players are good enough.
If conte comes he wouldn’t entertain these two players. Please conte come and sort this bloody mess out.
