AC Milan are on the lookout for potential talent not just domestically or even within Europe but also in South America, and they are reportedly targeting a Gremio star.
According to what is being reported by TMW, Lucas Kawan is on the radar of both Milan and their Serie A rivals Roma, with both clubs looking for future reinforcements for the defensive department. He is a right-back who has recently stood out with the Carioca, and has a contract expiring in June 2024.
The Rossoneri have been persistently linked with a number of different talents from across the Atlantic Ocean including the likes of Everton Soares – who joined Benfica from Gremio in the end – plus Julian Alvarez of River Plate and Agustin Alvarez of Penarol.
There is not an abundance of information on the 18-year-old Kawan apart from his position, but his signing would certainly leave questions about the futures of Alessandro Florenzi who is on loan with option to buy from Roma and Pierre Kalulu who has been deployed as a centre-back recently.
